COOLFATA has officially launched its Imasec beta 1.0.25.

Maybe out there you can find programs to hide files inside images, but, Imasec is a product that offers any Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows XP SP1 and Windows 2000 user, the possibility to hide all of his files inside a single image by using several independent encryption algorithms over each protected document. Imasec supports any of the following encryption algorithms: Ghost, Blowfish, RC4, MD5 (128 bits), SHA1 (160 bits), SHA (256 bits)

It works just the same as a .zip file, but it offers a lot more:

• Possibility to have a global password to protect the Imasec file, and individual passwords to protect each document contained within.
• Windows Explorer Right Click Menu Integration (My Computer)
• Automatically recognizes Images that have files compressed within them with Imasec format.
• Its able to compress files within an Image without altering its quality, update time/date, or original size.
• Imasec support the most popular Image formats, such as: jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, among others.
• After using Imasec you will end up with an Image file the same size, but it will contain hidden files in it, just as if you had zipped them.
• Drag & Drop support of those file which format is recognized by Imasec.
• Independent Passwords for each file contained within an Image with Imasec format.

Imasec Beta 1.0.25 shows part of the complete functionalities of the final release, and its totally free (freeware).
